Bidding Assistance & Meeting MWDBE Requirements
August Wilson Center had a commitment to exceed the 17% minimum MBE requirement of the City of Pittsburgh in the construction of the center. As Diversity Coordinator, E. Holdings, Inc. presented the project at outreach sessions to promote the program and encourage MBEs to actively participate and bid on the historic project. E. Holdings, Inc. evaluated various contractors’ bid proposal through value engineering to ensure diversity thresholds were met prior to being invited to bid on the work. Our team provided ongoing monitoring and reporting of contract MBE/WBE spending through the project to ensure commitments were honored. Due to E. Holdings, Inc.’s diversity coordination, MWBE participation in the construction of the August Wilson achieved 35% Minority participation and 20% Women participation.
Cash Flows and Budget Management
E. Holdings, Inc. developed cost forecasting processes that were applied to project budgets each month to provide up-to-date variances to project budgets. By integrating budgets and cost forecasting with the Master Schedule, accurate cash flow projections were provided.
Our Team also updated program cost status information constantly using project controls platforms to provide dashboard and executive reports for clear communication with the management team and stakeholders.
