Bus Line Redesign Enters Next Phase of Public Engagement
Bus Line Redesign, Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s (PRT) bus network redesign project, has entered the third phase of public engagement. The project team has released a draft redesign of the but network and are currently collecting public input on the proposed changes.
As part of the engagement and planning team, our team members have assisted with creating numerous public information handouts, surveys, and advertising materials. We have also assisted with uploading all information to the project website and organizing it in a way that is clear and easy for the public to understand and access. A digital and print version of the bus route change sheet flipbook was also created to be a tool for helping understand the proposed changes.
There are several in-person and online meetings planned for this round and our team has assisted with planning and executing these meetings. To date PRT has received over 4,500 survey responses on the website and over 450 comments have been recorded at in-person events.
